Milk Cake, also known as Tres Leches Cake is a sponge cake soaked in milk, topped with whipping cream and another serving of sweet milk. One of my favourite desserts to have, especially with a nice coffee! This cake comes in multiple variations. Now add milk, rose water and rose syrup.

  1. Mix few drops of rose food colour in to half cup milk and keep aside.
  2. Take 1/2cup sugar, 1/2cup curd, 1/4 cup oil, 2tbsp of rose syrup in a bowl, whisk all the ingredients together,
  3. Seive all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda together add this to wet ingredients, add food colour mixed milk..fold gently.
  4. Shift this cake batter in to a greased tin and bake it in the preheated oven at 180 degree celcius for 40 to 45 minutes.
  5. Take out the cake,cool down a bit,make holes in the cake using fork,now mix cream, milk, and rose syrup together, pour this rose milk on top of the cake.let cake to soak rose milk properly,
  6. Now spread whipped cream on top of the cake evenly..place it in the fridge to set for 30 minutes, take out garnish with rose petals, and some chopped pistachios, and serve with rose milk..
