Put the soup bone(s) in a small open baking dish &stick it in the oven at 350°F for an a hour or two. If you prefer you dont have to roast the bone ahead of time. Just add it along with the ingredients in your crockpot. Make sure to "bury" it in liquid so it forms the brown gravy, If you dont use a soup bone, add a package of brown gravy mix.

Mix cream of mushroom soup, tomato sauce, onion soup mix, parsley, and pepper together in a bowl; pour over the beef mixture.
