  1. Prepare 2 glasses self raising flour
  2. Get 3 eggs
  3. Take 200 g blue band

In a large bowl, stir together flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Add hot water and stir until well-combined. Divide batter between prepared cake pans. Tap pans on the counter once to remove any air bubbles in the batter.

Instructions to make Half chocolate cake:
  1. Mix the blueband with sugar till it forms a smooth paste.
  2. Beat the eggs in a separate bowl and add in the mixture then mix well.
  3. Add the flour and mix as you add the milk to form a paste of your preference, and then put half of the paste in a separate bowl and add the drinking chocolate then make sure its well mixed.
  4. Apply a thin layer of blueband on the baking pan/pot and a little flour on the surface to avoid the cake from sticking(you can as well use baking sheets)
  5. On the baking pot, pour the mixture without the chocolate first and then make another layer of the paste with chocolate.
  6. Preheat the oven to a temperature of 220 degrees and bake for 30-35 mins.
  7. Once cooked leave it to cool and enjoy.

Divide batter between prepared cake pans. Tap pans on the counter once to remove any air bubbles in the batter. So to make two layers, you need TWO batters. So, if I want to make it half-chocolate and half-vanilla, I just make two batters. I'm fond of Hershey's Perfectly Chocolate Cake, which is very thin, so you have to take care.
